Thanks Carol!
No more leapfrogging please: just lose some games, get Petey some points, and get those draft percentages up! |

So on penalty shots, when the goalie throws his stick to knock the puck away from the shooter, they have to prove both motive and intent beyond a reasonable doubt? That's the line the NHL is giving us today?
Fans would probably have more respect for this banana-republic league if they just admitted to what we already know to be the truth. American team, down two goals on home ice to a less favorable opponent. Otherwise known as Game Management. |

Thanks Carol! I agree, Blackhawks are playing like a team possessed. I would be shocked if we managed to get a point. Strome is exactly what the doctor ordered. What a lopsided trade, unbelievable. |

Not bad. Edler/ gardiner are both lefties. I think Hughes/ tanev will happen at some point but i think it’s more like gardiner/stech and Edler/tanev as the top 4. It’s actually not a bad top4 either. Especially when you got good kids to fill in for injuries (inevitable with the top2). |

I thought it was thrown as well but Looking at the replay in carols blog it shows that the goalie poke checked the puck but pettersson's Stick hit his which knocked it from his hand. The refs call was actually correct.

Funny how a team we cannot beat is holding down the last PO spot lol
That’s a fine line how close we were. |

I don’t think it’s fair to say Schaller in for Goldy.
It’s more like Eriksson in for Goldy, Schaller in for Eriksson.
Also, no mention of Schaller on the tying goal for Dallas? Collapsed down to blue paint, went down to block the shot, screened Markstrom and didn’t block the shot. |

|
Did we clinch a playoff spot yet? |

No. There's also an overhead angle which shows the stick out of the goalie's hands before it makes any contact with Petterson.
This is why the NHL thinks it can get away with their bullsh!t. |

Schaller ended up logging 12:19 of ice time on Sunday, nearly double his 6:53 against the Devils, mostly skating with Jay Beagle and Tyler Motte. And for all his offensive heroics, he changed juuuuuust before Jamie Benn got the Stars on the scoreboard with 22 seconds left to play in the second period, and was out with Motte and Beagle when Taylor Fedun—of all people—threaded a long shot through traffic to tie the game with 3:50 left to play in the third.
You must of just missed where the mention was in the blog. |

I think the trade was in favor of the hawks, but it wasn't THAT lopsided. Schmaltz was putting up lots of points for ARI before his injury. |

If you're late again you're off the squad. Even if you cry like the last time. |
